I had a very bad experience at this this place last Sunday I went to the Spanish market then I saw this restaurant on the corner, i was there around 5pm , I was ordering my food then security guy came over and asked me how did you get here? I said I came to the sidewalk. The gate was open by the barbershop . then he said you’re not supposed to come that way and I don’t know what you bring here and that’s not the entrance. I said I’m sorry I don’t know that . I’m first time here. he didn’t want to listen to me and he was start cursing me in Spanish and he walk me out. I never go back to this place . I called in to place a order to go and was told that they weren?t doing over the phone orders anymore, so I went in and ordered. Got my frappe within 3 minutes of ordering, didn?t even get the frap the way I told them. By the time I got my food 30 minutes later it was already watering down. No seasoning at all on the mofongo or carne frita. 25$ for just that when I can go anywhere else and get two plates for that much. Won?t go again. And no one wears a mask or social distances.
The best family square to go. The owners together with all employees are very humble. The services are amazing. They all feel like family. The food is from this world. The music is right. Beer is always served very cold as in Puerto Rico. I was as amazed as hard as those people worked in Frappe when Hurricane met Maria on the island. They say endlessly to make sure that Puerto Rico got what they need it in the most difficult time. God bless you all
We had a fantastic time! Our first time here. They let us know when we got here that there'd be a bit of a wait, because they'd just opened. So we placed our order and sat outside, beautiful day for it. The food arrived fresh, hot, and delicious! They make their mofongo from scratch, and it was perfect and flavorful. The chicken chicharrones were crispy outside and tender inside! I highly recommend this place :

Very tasty Puerto Rican dishes takes a little while to make, but worth it! Empanadillas had ample stuffing. I had the mixed mofongo with shrimp, octopus, and conch, and a passion fruit frappe.
Last night we had only played Son Taquiri El Gran Combo salsa. Oldies. Wow incredible evening. Delicious food and safe environment. ? recommended if you are in the area.
A taste of Puerto Rico. Alcalpurrias are my favorite. Music is perfect. Sometimes they have live bands. Your menu is great.
