This place is simply *amazing*. You know those fiendishly expensive French “degustation” 6 course menus? Well the taste experience at this unassuming little tapas bar full of locals was equally as perfect, but for a fraction of the price, with friendly service and great football on tv. We were a bit surprised when a friendly elderly waiter said “best to combine the flavours: have a bit of chorizo and salchichón in the same mouthful”. Well, it turns out he’s the owner, and obviously takes tremendous pride in his tapas: his anchovy and marinated (by him) sardine on melted blue cheese (see pic) was another memorable taste explosion.
