Today, I picked up my delivery, and when I got home and opened my takeout container, I found a small piece of chicken. I had ordered a breast, not a leg. I'm really disappointed with the service. I called the restaurant to let them know about the mix-up, but the person I spoke to was quite rude and told me she would send another order. When the delivery driver arrived, he asked me to return the meal I had received in exchange for the correct one. I assumed this would be free, but it wasn't. I can't believe how rude they are. I had the delicious Leche De Tigre, which featured pieces of fish in ceviche juice along with shrimp, and I also enjoyed the Ceviche De Pescado, made with fish marinated in lemon juice! This is my third time ordering from here, and they never disappoint. The calamari arrived nice and hot. Just a note, the martini glass isn't included.
I found the lomo saltado to be quite disappointing. It lacked flavor, the steak was undercooked and tough, and the onions weren't cooked properly either. However, the portion size was generous. As for the papa a la huancaína, it was also bland and too watery, but again, the portion was substantial. Overall, I won’t be returning.
This place feels like a hidden gem, and it's a shame that more people aren't discovering its delicious dishes! As a Peruvian, I absolutely love the flavors of their red spaghetti and arroz con pollo. I highly recommend it and hope more people get to hear about this fantastic restaurant.
