I recently bought two five dollars order of pernil. 1. The lady serving me served so little i fit the two containers she gave me in just one. (she also wasn’t very nice… 2. It tasted very old. Like it was out for days. There was no taste, and honestly lacked any seasoning. 3. Unfortunately, this once great restaurant, is no longer the way they were. I’m really sad that they lost their touch, it was my favorite dominican restaurant. Go to costar bar instead
Delicious food and good service BUT I noticed in the bill that they calculate a percentage of the total as GRATUITY that I do not think is legal. In addition, customers leave THE GRATUITY or TIP and the restaurant will also pay a plus GRATUITY THAT their registration fees on the basis of the entire invoice. They've done that for a long time. If you want to ignore an ex-and-hold chart about you, you'll do it.
Diamond in rough walking through the door, I was greeted. Apparently busy as it was lunch hour, the waiting period was not long. I ordered by Grubhub and the order was ready in time frame. The displayed food lets you taste everything. I ordered the Pernil Combo with yellow curtain and salad. Great price for the amount of food and taste. Superb! I'll come back. IMuchas Gracias!
First order from here was contemporary (super sweet driver) but unfortunately did not receive what I asked. I asked for BBQ ribs and just got them. The part was also very small for the price... 1 rib thrown in, 90% rice.. The food is good, but her service could be much better.
