Ive tried this spot 3 times over the years since it opened. I want to like it, I really do. Everyone has an off night but this place is just off every time Ive been there! It has potential to be so much better owned by Fonda La Catrina next-door, one of our favorite places. The drinks are good but full to the rim with ice. The Queso fundido with the upsell of chorizo added) was plentiful and tasty, about an 6- 8 oz bowl) comes with 2 small street taco sized tortillas. We've been here several times. The margaritas are fantastic. Mezcal place, no tequila, so the riff-raff will stay away. Food has a freshness you can taste. It can be a little loud so you may have to hear the tables next to you yelling at each other just to have a conversation. That means you may have to hear someone talking about how we should have let the South scede and become there own country like Gilead. Ugh, turn the music down. I don't want to hear that s

Two words mezcal margarita, went for happy hour $2 off cocktails) and had the chips/salsa with guac and ceviche tostada, ok that's more than 2 words but the cocktail was the star and I may be bias as I love mezcal! Fun restaurant and lucky to enjoy the last bit of summer as their patio is so nice. Check them out! I can't speak to other menu items as it was a stop before we went elsewhere for dinner.

Both service and food were mediocre the spicy mezcal margarita was really good! The rice and beans were flavorless. They were short staffed so it took forever to get our check when we were done, but in their defense it was packed by the time we finished and there were only like three people working. My main sadness was that the food was nothing special, though. Réservez une table maintenant

Always a fun time at happy hour with their great specials. Service is okay... everyone is super friendly, but sometimes it's not clear who your server is. Which isn't a big deal... until you want to order for it a drink. I wish they'd make this a bit more clear. I love the tostada with shrimp and tacos with mushrooms... great flavor on the tostada!!

My guacamole was salty the chips was burnt I also asked for my steak to be medium rare it wasn’t what I wanted my opinion is they need better cooks I was disappointed Taylorville is definitely where it’s at

Just had an amazing supper. Great service. The waitress was on it. Refill drinks quickly, made sure we were happy with everything and was very friendly!!! Keep up the great work!!! We will be back. A lot

Breakfast Burrito's were great. Also ordered the Carnitas and El Pollo dinners both were delicious! Cocktails were perfect Mexican Beer was spot on.Highly recommended. Will be back! Réservez une table maintenant

Watery, tasteless cocktails. Bland, soggy and slimy but overloaded tacos. Dry ceviche like plastic pellets. Blaring music. Barely trying, it seems. An insult to Mexican food. Yuck.
