While there are several taco spots nearby offering birria tacos, I can confidently say that El Taco Bar in Closter serves the best. The meat is perfectly seasoned and tender, complemented by slightly crispy, soft corn tortillas and a delicious consommé. And the nachos! Unlike most places where they become soggy from excessive toppings, these stay crisp. This has become our favorite taco place!
The Asada (Steak) tacos were fantastic. The corn tortillas were great, and the meat had a nice, soft texture with a good flavor. Overall, the tacos were tasty! I requested spicy salsa, and they informed me that it would be an extra charge. No problem, I got it!
Everything was fantastic, especially the Pollo Asado (Chicken) Taco. The only minor drawback is that the menu mentions an extra taco, but it doesn’t clarify that it means an extra tortilla.
Wasn't too tasty, honestly. Definitely should've went elsewhere. Meat wasn't tender it was very rough and dry, even with the sauce lol. Réservez une table maintenant
