If you're looking for no-frills Mexican cuisine in South River, this is the place to go. The food is consistently tasty, and the portion sizes are generous without being excessive. Prices are quite reasonable, and the wait staff is friendly. While the interior could use a little upkeep and tends to be on the warmer side, that’s to be expected for the location. Overall, if you find yourself nearby and craving authentic Mexican food, this restaurant is definitely worth a visit!

I wouldn't recommend this restaurant. The food was overly salty and didn’t taste fresh, and the prices were too high for the quality offered. I ordered tostadas, but they were not the crunchy kind I expected. Additionally, the servers said they were "too busy" to prepare the drinks I requested and suggested I just order a soda instead. If you're looking for a good family spot with authentic cuisine, this isn’t the place for you!

This restaurant offers the closest experience to authentic Mexican cuisine. However, there's one aspect I would change: I wish they sold tacos individually. Many patrons, including myself, want to sample a variety of tacos, and I ended up ordering several different ones. Given the demand, I believe it would be beneficial for them to offer tacos one at a time.

If you’re seeking authentic cuisine, this is not the place to visit! The food was disappointing, and the service was equally poor. I ordered steak with rice and beans, and within 20 minutes, I felt nauseous. There are plenty of true authentic dining options available, but this definitely isn’t one of them! only cash, byob good mex. salsa verde has a little heat and good taste. guacamole also had a nice taste. tacos are served piping hot and gringo style salate, acid cream, tomato or Mexican style, twill and zilantro. alpastor and chorizo had both a good taste.

real Mexican food. they have menudo to cry loud! this place is a dive, but eating is authentic and tasty. the menu urbanspoon has published here is not correct. it's a byob. I uploaded photos from their menu.

The food is delicious and authentic. The owners are very nice. This place specializes in lunch, and I’m definitely coming back. Parking is available on the road and is metered at 25 cents per hour.

The staff member was quite rude during my visit. Honestly, it felt unnecessary; all I wanted was for her to just put the torta in the bag. Réservez une table maintenant

Food is ok. Takes long to be served. There is not parking lot so you have to find parking on the street. Servers didn't speak English
