El Taquito - Réservation de table

Real food. Real yummy. Real authentic. Stopped by before running errands. Orders tamales, tortilla soup, and an alpastor taco. While we waited we were given comp chips and salsa. The salsa was spicy, but a good spicy. The chips were crispy but not too hard that you can't bite it. Tamales--good and fluffy. Smelled like fresh corn.. tortilla soup, creamy and lots of juicy chicken. Al pastor taco had lots of pineapple and juicy pork. I'll be here again Price per person: $1–10

I've been working in the Eagleville area and stopped by here last week for lunch. Ordered 3 carne asada tacos and they were some of the best tacos I've ever had. Staff were very friendly, prices were great, good variety of food and drink, and prices were reasonable. The salsa verde was also incredible. I don't even live near here but I'm planning on making my way over here to get food again because it was so good that I'm already craving it again.

We ordered the breaded chicken torta, and it turned out to be quite dry and difficult to eat. The chips in the super nachos were stale and practically inedible. While the waitress was friendly, that’s the only positive aspect of our visit. Overall, we felt we didn’t get our money's worth. Additionally, we noticed that the cooks didn’t wash their hands after returning from break.

The word authentic gets tossed around a lot but this place really hits on the head. Good attention to detail. Food preparation and presentation was perfect along with flavor. This was our first visit, so we weren't sure what to expect. The staff was really friendly, and the food was fantastic. We will definitely come back to eat here again.

The homemade Mexican food here is outstanding. The super nachos, chimichanga, and flan were all delicious.
