I appreciated that El Tarasco Mexican had the menu displayed under the clear tabletop, although the text was a bit too small to read easily. We tried accessing the menu via QR code on both iOS and Android devices, but it was still hard to see clearly. Even after taking a screenshot, it remained difficult to read. The staff was great, and the chili relleno from the combo menu was absolutely amazing! The chalupa was a taco shell without meat unless you pay extra, but it was tasty and came with refried beans, white queso, and fried rice with lettuce. We have never been disappointed by El Tarasco Mexican and their dedicated staff. From the moment we arrive, we feel welcomed, and the food is consistently hot, fresh, and delicious. On our latest visit, I decided to finally try a dessert, and we settled on xangos. Wow, what a treat! It was my first fried dessert, made with tortillas, and it was sweet, light, and utterly delightful. It's no surprise that we keep coming back; this place is definitely our go-to for Mexican cuisine. You should make it yours as well!
I recently dined at this restaurant for dinner, and I have mixed feelings about the experience. The cost per person was reasonable, ranging from $10 to $20, which is a plus. El Tarasco Mexican is a fantastic Mexican restaurant tucked away in Shepherdsville Plaza, just off Exit 117 if you're heading north on I-65. The food is excellent, served in generous portions that will definitely keep you coming back. The service was exceptional as well. You won’t leave this place hungry! It’s one of the best Mexican restaurants I’ve tried in Kentucky so far.

I came here 1st time our waitress was nice and he attended us with kind! It was empty the restaurant, when we were just sitting they serve us with chips and salsa! And it didn't took long for our food to arrive! I recommend going here!It has delicious food ! Food: 5 Service: 5
The Chicken Chimichanga was absolutely delicious, packed with flavor and served piping hot and quickly. This is truly one of the best Mexican restaurants in the area, with food that is well-seasoned and full of taste. I will definitely return!
