El Tarascó Mexican Food

The asada tasted like it came straight from Food For Less. The hint of lime was a nice touch, but they could have just provided limes on the side. While the food wasn't terrible, it certainly wasn't exceptional either. They use cheap, generic ingredients, although the cooks do seem to make the best of what they have. I've had worse meals, but I've also had much better. I usually dislike wasting food, but I ended up throwing away half of the asada because it was fatty and tough, reminiscent of low-quality meat from Food For Less. My friends from El Salvador mentioned that this is pretty typical. That's why I gave them four stars instead of two. I just hope I don't get sick.

The meat was somewhat bland, but at least they trimmed all the fat. The rice, beans, and tortillas were enjoyable. The salsa came with an extra charge per container—around $0.50—which didn't sit well for a dine-in customer. I’m not familiar with the neighborhood, so maybe they have their reasons for that? Overall, it was a decent meal. Food rating: 4/5.

Not washing His HandsThis is not the FIRST time happening, the guy who makes the food is around +55 years He don’t wash his hands, I have seen him doing things like throwing trash or opening doors and he starts cooking just after doing and touching all dirty surfaces. I will send friends to verify. Is not fair for the people eating im there.

I absolutely love the tortas ahogadas here; the chef really knows what they're doing. However, the lady at the front could use some training in customer service skills. Overall, I still recommend this place. The guacamole isn’t quite right—it feels more like powdered guacamole, which is why I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5. Réservez une table maintenant

The rice was either old or undercooked, making it hard, and the beans had an off taste. I tried the chilaquiles with meat, and it was just average. Overall, I would rate the food 3/5.

My man at the register is always happy and in a good mood excellent customer service. The food is always ready pretty quick too and taste amazing.

They are currently doing construction so there are no menus right now. But the food here is great. I had a Carne asada wet burrito.Food: 5/5

The cashier was quite rude during my visit. I can't understand why the owners would allow that. It's really disappointing. Réservez une table maintenant
