El Timon De Barbate

Last night we had the wonderful experience of dining at the restaurant El Timón located on the seafront of Barbate. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the beauty of the place. The dinner we enjoyed was simply outstanding. We started with an ensaladilla rusa that was surprisingly creamy and delicious. And with a toast with tuna cubes that was spectacular. We continue with some homemade croquettes. The options were Iberian ham with mint aioli and half of garlic prawns. We were able to order them mixed, which we appreciate because that way we could try both. And both one and the other, they earned the title of the best croquettes I 've ever tasted. Highly recommended. The tuna tacos off the menu and the tartare were incredible. We also ordered grilled belly and mormon with tomato, all very tasty. Very good quality/price and very good service.
