If you are looking for good quality food at a good price with a smattering of banter and a good evening this is the place for you. The food is like a good quality English pub, the sort of food to suit all types, good quality and good portions. It’s not often I would feel the need to write a bad review but this place was a serious let down. So save your money and go else where! We order two different curry’s on their “curry night” Both tasted the exact same. Both lacking flavour, yet very little on the plate. Barely any chicken and very little sauce!Each was served with one small onion baji, one small samosa and a very small piece of nan bread. These clearly all came straight from a packet in the freezer! We actually went to pizzeria marameo afterwards to get a pizza because we were still so hungry! We have been visiting this bolt hole for about 20 years and through three different ownership 's and the present team is great. Toston caters for all comers, but is slanted towards English tastes, some people are a little sniffy about the place. mocking its Englishness, but we find it great, with reliable, good value food, and friendly service. It can get quite busy, particularly on themed dining nights, so booking is highly recommended. We visited a few times and as usual visited on Curry Night (Chicken Tikka Massala was excellent) Everything is lovingly prepared so there may be a short wait on busy nights, but it 's well worth it. We came across this restaurant while walking in the old harbour area of El Cotillo. Sight outside said Beer Battered Fish and Chips and that was the draw. We were not let down. The food here is well cooked and presented and at a reasonable Price too. Another attraction was the hosts Ian and Jacqui (who cooks the food). Lovely couple and Ian has a dry sense of humour. We visited again before we left for home and passed on recommendations to a few People at the hotel too. Our last night there was very busy and Ian was helped by his daughters and grandchildren who had just arrived from Australia and UK. Thank you for your hospitality. John and Jill

We have been to this bar quite a few times over the years. Twice on this trip…. Once for drinks and then today for a lovely roast. We eat out most nights and like to mix it up in terms of cuisine when we are on holiday. We don’t generally seek out English bars and to be honest this is the first time we have eaten a roast abroad It was lovely. Really tasty and a real plateful. Ian is a proper character and an efficient waiter/ barman to boot!We will definitely return when we are back in Fueteventura and recommend to friends
Having read reviews and not stayed in El Cotillo previously I made this my first port of call.Lovely view over the harbour. The Host Ian is a credit to the restaurant, efficient,enjoys friendly banter and is attentive. They actually care that you have enjoyed your food.i have returned and the food is freshly cooked and of exceptional quality.Varied choices and a special's board. A must visit if you are in El Cotillo
Having been here for drinks on a couple of occasions and loved the ambience and service we decided to come on a Sunday evening and gave the Roast dinner. Choice of meats and a veggie option. We both had lamb which came with a Yorkshire pud, 4 veg, roast and boiled potatoes, stuffing and gravy. Really tasty and even had mint sauce. Highly recommend. Ps. The toilets were immaculate which is always a good sign.
Quirky bar with predominantly British customers on my visit. Traditional British meals served along with sarcasm and wit from Ian, the owner. Entertaining to watch customers reaction to his comments, worth a visit.
