I have been recently and this restaurant on my impression is been excellent, local food is widely available in the menu and they have a specialities from international cuisine. The service is correct friendly and professional the place has a wonderful views over the lake . It is definitely one of the best places I've been up in the mountains in Cazorla and Segura. Apart from these the place is surrounded with the solar power boat which is an excellent trip over the lake, they have places for the children on as well they have many more entertainment possibilities for others and young. I will come back.
What a wonderful discovery while visiting Jaén! The solar powered boat that takes you around the lake (or reservoir) offers great views in a very relaxing environment. I met a large group of bird watching lovers that were fascinated by the experience. Later in the day, I enjoyed the most exquisite lunch at the El Tranco Restaurant, while the food was very typical of this region, it had a very modern twist to it. Very tasty. Loved the Salmorejo, Carpaccio de gamo and the Grilled Watermelon, a must have! Very friendly service. If you are ever in the area, don't miss this place.
Set overlooking the trout filled lake the setting is great. We sat outside with our dog but there is a nice looking restaurant upstairs. I had a BBQ pizza which was okay but topping was a little rich with an unusual crispy base. My wife had the local trout stuffed with ham which was very good and clearly very fresh. Not silly money for the location. Afterwards we took our dog for a gentle swim in the warm lake. A great way to spend an hour or two.
a nice, cozy and with very good views. In the service, Alvaro treated us and advised very well. We tried a beer of olive oil that got us. We squirted some chickens and a fried watermelon that were very good. from the main, we take a codillo, lamb chop, follow it and deer chop to fat. all very good. a good homemade dessert to finish a very good meal

We had a delightful stop for lunch here while exploring this gorgeous area. Every dish was a winner, especially the salad with fresh fruit and peppers, and the tuna tataki. Lovely friendly service and great views of the hills and reservoir.
Clean restaurant , very friendly, helpful service and amazing view of the lake from the restaurant. Delicious fresh local food. Highly recommended. The prices are in the middle range.
Stopped here a couple of times for ice cream. Great selection of flavours and they all taste fantastic. The chocolate fondant is especially good.
