Having lived in and travelled most of Spain for 17 years we had the best Calamari ever in this simple bar, the prices are so cheap we had a feast of incredible quality food, pinchos morunos, Calamari, Langostinos, crispy pork belly slices, black pudding Morcilla) lots of wine and pastis for two all for less than €8 each. Also known as the Marranillo , this is a really good known place to visit for the poor folks in Palencia. For as low as 50 Euro you and your family can eat a really great number of big snacks and typical dishes but nothing healthy food, I promise you of Palencia 's meat. If you want to know Palencia in its deepest way, you should visit the Marranillo , with no debt. But you should take care with the folks you can find around the Trompicon. Bad guys, poor people, workers and really geekfest people can be found them visiting the Trompicon each day. And it is even worst during the night!. Es un clásico de esta ciudad. Qué levante la mano quién no ha comido en el marrano aunque solo sea una vez. La verdad para picar un bocadillo rápido y comerlo en la calle a lo pobre está bien, esta rico y es barato,pero claro el tema del olor insoportable a aceite resquemado pues echa bastante para atrás. This palentino bar is known as the fox,' that nothing else enters you will know why. offer many rations, most of them cooked on the plate that is in sight. We ordered the champagnes and they got us a lot. Plus, they have good beer and the waiters are very blissful. prices are irrysome.
