El Vaquero Taqueria

Large portions of delicious authentic Mexican food! We had the pork street tacos and macho nachos. Like their menu says, their meat is seasoned well but if you like spicy, ask them to add one of their salsas on the side. Found this place after reading reviews when travelling thru. Sign says they are only open weekdays 11am to 3pm. No indoor seating, a few nice picnic tables, and you may have to wait in line outside for your food..but worth it!! The locals eat here so you know it's good.

Saw reviews for this restaurant while visiting town and knew we had to try it out! There is a line, but don?t let the line scare you away! This place is worth the wait! We got tacos, burritos, quesadillas and everything was so good with very generous portions. Also, short walk from the Capital building and Last Chance Tour Train.

This is the best Mexican food in Helena. You can judge each day with the long lines at the start window? re open (and I wish they were more open). Now and then? ll offer a meal (aka FEAST) deal? a lot of food for very little money. Great food cooked by really nice people.

Best Burritos in the Northwest. Family running so hours can never be exact. Good luck getting the best Burritos.
