Eleven City Diner is a superb breakfast brunch spot in the Chicago area! It was recommended by staff at the hotel I was staying at in Chicago, and did not disappoint. Last Thursday, I rushed to come here for brunch, and took an Uber here because I am just visiting the Chicago area. I walked in and ordered table for one, and got bar seating immediately. I immediately enjoyed the casual, laid back atmosphere around me and snapped some photos to capture the moment. I asked the waiter for popular items, and 11 City French Toast (FT was mentioned. Rita's Plate appealed to me because it had eggs, meat, and potatoes, but also came with the FT. Waiter said FT is better with 11 City toppings strawber...
I initially went here because I read they have one of the best **** Marys in the city. And it's true! We've loved everything we have tried. Their homemade chicken noodle soup is outstanding. The corned beef Reuben appetizers are really yummy. Also the liver pate, the crispy onion mountain and the french fries. I especially appreciated the gentleman from the diner that kept me company and made sure I was safe while outside waiting for my Uber...gold star for that!
leb in los angeles and catch every time I go to chicago to be at the door when eleven city diner opens to an early piece! Great ambiente and a really amazing experience! I plan my next trip to chicago so I can get my repair of lox and corn beef and pastrami bowl with two over simple eggs! do not be surprised if I am here on this Friday or Saturday to post pictures of my breakfast! everything was absolutely fantastic! French toast, pommes and conjured bark. The biggest thing is that you can only eat so much if I had more space, I would have ordered more. order the 43 sandwich that have everything at once
