Was hoping I found a good bakery. Got a chocolate croissant and a cinnamon roll. The croissant tasted like it was a day old. I eat them a lot in Europe (literally just got back) so I know what a fresh one tastes like. Didn't taste fresh at all. The cinnamon roll really tasted off. This is another thing I get often and I don't know if they put something in it but it was weird. I couldn't even finish it. On top of that, we had to wait for these items. I see a lot of negative reviews mention service issues and I guess they haven't figured that out yet. The other employees were very busy with more complicated orders but there was no one else behind us on line. It would have taken the cashier 10...
You must come and try the pastries for yourself. The morning delight muffins are exceptional served warm. The presentation of the sweets is very delicious and stunning. The taste of most everything is high quality. The flourless chocolate cake and savory spinach cheese pastery was divine. My only complaint would be they use Nutella in their chocolate croissants, which I chalk up to my personal preferences over a major issue. Either case, I would like some kinda clarification or warning put up for those with hazelnut allergies. The atmosphere was really fun too! I always go for the bakery, everything is pricey but delicious, never mind paying for it but today I had a bad experience, I order by mistake a apple turnover instead of a apple torte o whatever they called it,the cashier was mortified about it ,I told her I would pay the difference , she still looked confused and point at me was .50 cents more, like I did it on purpose to save .50 , if I was really doing that why would I tipped 1.00 to start in a 4.25 apple turn over? I gave her an extra 1.00 for it and just left . What a shame … was it really that big of deal ? I will never go back if they are going to be so pitty about it.
Upon our arrival, we were welcomed by a friendly lady at the entrance who handed us a menu to browse, as it was our first visit. We ordered our drinks and settled at a cozy table near the register. I chose the French toast, which definitely lived up to the wait, while my daughter enjoyed her grilled cheese sandwich quite a bit. We had the pleasure of meeting the owner, who was truly delightful. The staff were all exceptionally kind and supportive of one another. The ambiance was relaxing, complemented by lovely decorations on the ceiling. Réservez une table maintenant
My favorite spot for healthy, yummy breakfasts or lunches! This small cafe' exudes great energy immediately lifts your spirit. The nutritious food, the wide selection of desserts (created in house), coupled with a caring/dedicated staff make for a perfect visit every time!
