few ask for detail. first, eating was satisfactory, but wait a long wait wait wait wait wait wait wait wait a long waiter apologetic) and wow, food extremely overpriced to the point of distraction. they expect to pay at least $10 $15 more than anywhere else for certain teller, and to these praises they would expect that eating is exceptional, but it was not. glass wein $18. Yes, absolutely, we have decided to stay, and that was our decision, so cannot complain about it, and we enjoyed our lunch. by far the worst Greek restaurant I have ever visited. eating was very bland, under seasoned, ridiculous over price and oily. it shocks me that a restaurant in such a first-class location can be so bad. we were constantly harassed by boring waitresses, who used to keep our table. when we were offered water, I thought it was just water, but no, $9 later and we weren't the wiser. the workers here are very strange and made the experience very unpleasant and anxious, the manager was a very strange guy obviously choose and choose what feedback they keep on their FB page and delete as there is no negative rating in the website. as unprofessional. we will not return...read more
This restaurant has great views of the marina, friendly staff and scrumptious food. Fresh lemons are provided and the surrounds leave you in no doubt that this is a greek restaurant. The halloumi was perfectly cooked but just a tad cold, my partner had the octopus which he said was really tasty. The lamb skewers were tender and had a great selection of mediterranean veggies which were yummy. My partner had the prawn saganaki, which had a good selection of prawns and he said the cheesecake was delicious. Would definitely go back.
Ellenika was amazing one thing you can count on in Adelaide is we have our fair share of Greek restaurants and this establishment ticks all the boxes from service to food quality to pricing oh and to the colouring they allowed our kids to pass the time in between courses . The layout is beautiful with its general area a private area for birthdays and out door seating perfect for those summer nights Adelaide has. I would highly recommend this place + live Greek music on Saturdays i am hearing what more could you ask for ! Réservez une table maintenant
2 years ago, when this place was sensational in adelaide! so much that we often get the order to our waiter who never left us down. the dinge have changed since the service was so bad, we went out before we even order food. our waitress had no idea about everything, and apparently everything we had ordered had expired. could not help, but the feeling that we were pushed into the ordering expensive drinks! oh, and there is no child menu. so disappointing
Came for dinner on a Saturday night. Meals came out pretty quickly but took a while for our order to be taken. Had mezedakia to share, all of the dishes came out fresh, and tasted pretty good. Smaller portion size for the price but nice atmosphere and they had also live bouzoukia which you can't really beat!
