While the smallgoods are a little on the pricey side, there's no doubt that this adorable German butcher makes the greatest sandwiches on Beaufort Street. Excellent crunchy bread rolls with your choice of meat, from schnitzel to goulash to roast, with a sizeable selection of salads. Big enough to share, too! Their sausage rolls are the best in the state. Flaky, buttery pastry, and savoury, flavourful filling. Wonderful. A veritable institution is the weekend hangover cure of bratwurst and sauerkraut that can be bought from the street in the biggest griddle you'll ever see.
