I ordered the BBQ beef brisket sandwich and it was the BEST I've ever had! The brisket was so tender, perfectly seasoned and juicy. I will definitely be back many more times!!!"

First time here today and didn't know what to expect. It's been on my radar for a long time as everyone said it's excellent. Well they weren't wrong! We tried the smoked jerk wings, brisket Philly wrap, pastrami Reuben, and chili cheese dog. Everything tasted great. My wife said the Reuben was outstanding and perfectly balanced. She gets hers without thousand island dressing though. My Philly brisket wrap was very flavorful....a little on the greasy side, but great flavor. Smoked jerk wings had just the right amount of smoke flavor and seasoning. They serve them with a side of ranch and bbq sauce. The side of bbq sauce had a nice tang and great flavor. We stopped through Memphis on our way back home, and we wanted to try the famous Memphis BBQ. We came to the right place! My husband and I split the 'Shack Attack '. The best ribs I 've ever eaten, hands down. Fell off the bone as soon as we picked it up; no knife or fork needed. The wet BBQ sauce was so flavorful. The brisket and pork and chicken were great as well. The beans had amazing flavor as well; literally everything was AMAZING AND DELICIOUS. Service was kind, down to earth, and great as well! 1000/10 recommend!!!!
First visit but won't be the last. Got the patty melt and it was delicious. I love a good burger and this did not disappoint. Only thing I didn't care for is that I got choked up from going on the inside. Not sure if it's like this always the the smell of smoke (from them cooking) was way overwhelming towards the counter area. I was told about Elwood's Shack. a month ago and how good the food is and that is the truth. Today family members and I went to Elwood for lunch and the food was just as great as the reviews said and pictures show it is. We will most definitely be returning soon. We individually ordered the Salmon salad, smoked jerk chicken wings, beef brisket salad and beef brisket sandwich.
