I cannot say enough about the customer service at the property. The staff bent over backwards to make sure any and all of my needs were met. I witnessed this with other guests as well. This started at the front desk, continued with the breakfast staff and the housekeepers.My room was clean and while the property could use some updating here and there, my room was modern enough. The air conditioner works on a sensor and resets itself to 72 when no motion is detected after a period of time. This was frustrating, as it took me a couple of days to figure this out. stayed here for a quick overnight with the family. easy to get to off the highway, hidden away from the road but you'll find it. was greeted very warmly by the excellent front desk staff. they were very kind and attentive, answering questions and explaining the hotel features. didn't catch their names but the service was superb!!it seems like a typical Embassy Suites in that there is a large open courtyard with glass at the top allowing natural sunlight and making it feel airy. hotel does seem outdated with the furniture and layout. they had a complimentary manager's reception one free drink at the bar and some light snacks (like a bean salad and fruits/veg/cheeses). it was nice to see that....
The staff from Environmental Services (EVS) came to help, but the man was quite rude. He claimed the bug I saw came from the courtyard because of the real trees outside, despite it clearly being a fully grown bed bug. He collected it in a small container, and I was soon moved to another room. Unfortunately, when I removed the sheets there, I discovered a large blood stain.
In yet another room, I encountered a bathroom that smelled strongly of urine, and the shower curtain had mold that looked like it hadn't been changed in ages. My first time staying at an Embassy Suites, and now first selection is an Embassy Suites. Apart from the location a bit of a distance to a restaurant or shopping center, this hotel was terrific and very good service from the moment we checked in, to checking out. Front desk staff were great.Stayed at the Embassy Suites from July 23 to July 28, 2023. The rooms were very clean, the rooms were very spacious. Service was great, staff was extremely accomodating. The interior was very impressive, and they offered a terrific breakfast both buffet and a la carte. The chef made terrific omelets and pancakes or eggs any style. We initially checked into a room with wet carpet, so we had to move to a different one. The selection of appetizers during the manager's night or happy hour events could be improved. Additionally, the air conditioning and heating for the bedroom and living room areas should have separate thermostats.
Overall it could've been much better, rooms were nice but the pool wasn't stocked with towels, the room wasn't either and I've asked for them multiple times and haven't received them. Won't be staying here again due to the troubles but it is a nice place and the breakfast staff are amazing!
There are multiple issues. Microwave is too old and taking 30min to heat the food. Water dripping continuously from kitchen sink. Lot of noise from A/c unit. Washroom Door knob is not working. Very unhappy with the stay.
The rooms were musty and dusty. Right when you enter, you can smell the age and neglect. The dust caused me to sneeze throughout my entire stay. I wouldn't recommend staying here. Rooms: Dirty and unpleasant.
