We sat outside and the atmosphere was nice, but it is right on the road, so it was a little noisy. We had the fish and chips, and one of their burgers. Both were good, the fish was freshly breaded and seasoned well. Fries were fantastic. Service was ok. It seemed like they might have been down a person to help. We would come back again to try some additional dishes.
Definitely the best hole-in-the-wall bar in the south Tahoe area. Got to get the peanut butter jelly shots. Don't think I ever want to go to another bar again in South lake Tahoe except for this one. Bartender was super cool and came out and turned on the fire pit for me and my wife.
This restaurant has the best wedge salad and BLT in town, possibly the best anywhere! It has become my new favorite spot for both. The salad is piled high with bacon, tomato, and green onion, while the BLT is bursting with crispy bacon and fresh vegetables.
The eggs Benedict was awful. Broken hollandaise sauce, eggs not poached enough (egg whites pretty raw) and potatoes burnt. Luckily the rancheros were ok. Lacking in flavor though. Pretty disappointed. Food is usually great just not today Réservez une table maintenant
The sauce we requested was not provided, the biscuit didn't have enough gravy, and the eggs seemed artificial. The food was dry and the chicken strips resembled nuggets.
I paid extra for crab and avocados for the eggs Benedict. I had many pieces of crab shells in my food. The chicken fried steak was good though.
Seems like no one cares anymore at many places in Tahoe. Lady bartender was nice as well as the cook but other than that nothing special.
Great food , But don’t expect them to serve you a drink inna timely manor when it’s busy, or answer the phone. Réservez une table maintenant
The food and ambiance were fantastic. I ordered the happy hippie wrap and it was delicious.
