This is the third tapas restaurant we have visited in Chicagoland and it is so far the best. The restaurant has a standard menu and a large daily special menu to keep things interesting. We ordered four tapas plates, two from the standard menu and two from the daily menu. We also ordered a single serving of seafood paella along with two desserts and a few drinks. Menu prices ranged quite widely but expect the bill to be between $100-175 for two depending on drink orders. Everything was very good. I don't usually go to a tapas restaurant, but if I do, I'm never disappointed. Emilio is no exception. The variety of tapas on the menu was all well and well designed. I especially enjoyed the bloodworm and the grilled Calamari. But all the food was tasteful and filling, and I had tried an explosion to try out all the different tapas my party ordered. The tapas were served quickly, although the restaurant was packed when I left, and I appreciate this to the excellent, friendly service. Here at an impromptu date. The place was busy, but we could sit fast. The food was amazing. We shared several records and our server delivered great suggestions. They were out of some things on the special list that leads me to believe they were looking for. The recommended substitute dishes were amazing. The staff is great and they have a great system to ensure that your table also tends. I definitely recommend this place.
A neighbor recently suggested we dine here and wow so glad she introduced me to this place. Great vibe here mosaics on the walls, floors a nice little bar, an outdoor and indoor area. We ate indoors because of the weather. I love a place that can make a great cocktail. I didn't eat a lot, but what I had was really good. Service was great. I left feeling happy. We love Emilio's! Whenever we're in the burbs visiting family, we take a trip for lunch or dinner and EVERYONE walks away happy. I've eaten lots of amazing food in Spain, and Emilio brings the same spirit and recipes state-side, without skimping on flavor or authenticity. This is a MUST visit for tapas fans and full-family dining. You won't be disappointed!
A sad day at one of my most beloved eateries. I haven't been there since before COVID. The food was on point then. Today? Not so much. The paella was dry and almost flavorless. The stuffed mushrooms were tough and almost flavorless. The garlic potato salad was ON POINT though. It saved the meal!
I had a fabulous time to celebrate my wedding day. Emilio the owner and large cook goes to the table by table control. Food is fabulous. MY WAITED ALFREDO WAS SUPERB. I'll love it. Please book if you want to come.
Delicious! Tapas were gone in the snap of a finger. Sangria pitcher? Yes please. Dessert? Yes please. Patio seating with live music provided the perfect environment.

We had a lovely time. We celebrated our six year anniversary. We will definitely be back. The service was wonderful and the food was delicious!
