I wish I lived closer to Emma's Torch Café, as it would definitely be one of my go-to spots for the weekend. I walked in knowing nothing about the cafe but was eager to try the hawaij mocha, which I've never encountered before. There was a bit of confusion while ordering, as the cashier seemed to have difficulty understanding me. It eventually occurred to me that the staff were learning English and that this cafe supports refugees. I made it a point to speak more slowly and use simpler words, as I understand how challenging it can be to learn a new language, and it’s easy to feel overwhelmed. I must say, the gluten-free corn muffins were the best I've ever tasted. The service was outstanding, and the café felt very inviting. I will definitely return and support this initiative in any way possible.
