Review Date: June 23rd, 2013 The popularity of this place no joke, despite the mascot being a clown. If you are no stranger to Peoria, you will also be no stranger to the myths and legends that surround Emo’s Dairy Mart. If you are not from the area, you might be asking yourself: “What is Emo’s and why is it so popular?” I can answer the first part of that but not the second. This place is a Peoria institution, one I took my whole family to in the 90s as kids. The clown topped building has long been a staple of the area at the corner of War Memorial and Prospect and has generations coming back year after year. Great selection of food always. I hope its around for many more years!

Tumbs down, the vanilla ice cream didn't have any kind of flavor at ALL!!!! The only thing I taste as I ate my snickers wizard was the snickers. I also purchased 3 more wizards for my family and they said the ice cream was flavorless.

This place never disappoints. I traveled from NC and was able to enjoy an ice cream cone before you close for the year. Extremely polite and efficient employees.

Their sweet tea is barely sweet, the chili cheese dogs weren't worth the price. I like the fries by themselves. Too expensive for what you get.

It is honestly the best chocolate store around here. I’m not a fan of other chocolate stores in Illinois but this one. 10/10 would recommend
