We all used to be regular patrons at En Izakaya when it first opened as we were locals in the area and loved their approach to the Izakaya experience … it’s been a long time since we dined here (ugh COVID) and we were all so happy to enjoy the same beautiful food and hospitality that has now made En Izakaya a St Kilda East dining institution. It felt like home and just makes me want to come back a lot more often, even though we’re all living a distance away… Highly recommended ????????????
Great service. Surprisingly good value. I thought the bill would be more. The restaurant was a bit dark. But not somewhere I would recommend as a romantic spot. As the dishes are all tapas like, they are really meant for sharing, so probably not good for office parties. I would recommend this restaurant and I will definitely be back.
it's been a past since we visited en izakaya and the other returned at night. it is standard of food is excellent. presentation is beautiful and there are interesting decisions without being too smart. service was nice and definitiw a visit worth when they go. in the opposite.

Everything was great as always but we were disappointed that alrough our early booking was at 6.30, and we ordered at 6.45 , they have already run out if mean balls!
This restaurant provides an authentic Japanese cuisine with modern twist. Nice comfortable interior and attentive service. We will definitely come back.
