When we arrived, we were greeted by a parking lot riddled with huge potholes and clearly neglected. Parking was a nightmare. I have heard about End Cut several times from different locals since moving to the Hudson Valley about 2 years ago but this was my first time going, and WOW. I honestly think it was one of the most well rounded and delightful meals I've had at a restaurant in a very LONG time. Every single item that arrived at our table from the drinks, appetizers, palate cleansers, entrees, to dessert was absolutely delectable. This might be one of my favorite meals from the past year. I ended up at this restaurant based on a recommendation from a good friend who praised the food quality, and it certainly lived up to the hype. Our server, JJ, was outstanding—professional, efficient, and incredibly knowledgeable. The steaks were cooked to perfection and served in generous portions. The chef even came by to ensure everything was satisfactory. I highly recommend End Cut for a nice dinner, whether it's for an anniversary, birthday, or any special occasion. My husband and I dined at this restaurant for my birthday after hearing great recommendations, and we couldn't be happier with our choice. The staff was courteous and friendly, fulfilling all our requests with ease. The food was simply outstanding! We began with the grilled octopus appetizer, followed by the Delmonico steak and roasted duck as our main courses, and concluded with the key lime pie for dessert. The waitress was rude and hasty, and she got half of our orders wrong. She insisted that my grandson try the dish she placed in front of him, even though it wasn’t what he had ordered. I reached out to the owner via email to share our unpleasant experience. He replied, and I let him know that I would give him a call. I called and left a message on his answering machine but never received a response. I sent another email, but still no reply. This reflects very poorly on their business practices. Service: Dine-in.
End Cut is truly outstanding. We tried nearly everything on the menu, and it was all wonderful. The atmosphere was delightful, and the service was impeccable, with the meal pacing being just right. The filet was incredibly tender, the ribeye was exceptional, the old fashioned cocktails deserve a perfect score of 10 out of 10, and all the desserts were superb. From beginning to end, my dinner experience was flawless. The food surpassed all my expectations. The indoor ambiance was ideal for conversation, and I particularly liked that Chef Jordan makes a point to visit every table. I've never had a disappointing meal here!
