Good service. Not too crowded. Excellent service. The waitress and host were very attentive and friendly. I shared the Omakase with one other person which was enough. It's not really an omakase but it plated quite appealingly and I like the novelty. There were some questionable items however. I wasn't a big fan of the shrimp dumplings ha gow and the bao bun as they seemed to me very put of place. Both were very underwhelming in taste and texture. The yuzu sauce paired perfectly with the raw oysters however. Takoyaki and squid skewer were unremarkable but tasty nonetheless. I'd probably not recommend the omakase as items are hit and miss.
Am always looking to try new experiences, especially with Japanese-style food, and walked away extremely satisfied with my experience at E:Ne Raw Food and Sake Bar. The ambiance of the location is of a very traditional Japanese style that I would actually find in Japan! Great and diverse menu options, with an incredible sake selection. And to our surprise, sake, and Japanese whisky 'flights '. The food was very tasty and the sake flight recommended was a great value, and actually really good! Appears all of the menu options are sharable, and presented in a very savory manner. Looking forward to returning on my next visit to Victoria!
