the hotel is not big, but very nice. the rooms are beautiful and well furnished. However, there are rooms that have been renovated and some of them are somewhat older.The new rooms have even floor heating in the bathroom.However, clean are all rooms.I was already three times on business there and every time it was a bang. breakfast buffet very rich. there are almost everything in the best quality. the hotel is very nicely located. in a few minutes you can reach the castle and the forests. the reception and also any other contact with the innkeepers and employees was very friendly and sympathetic. we would like to highlight the excellent dinner on the beautiful terrace. the breakfast has not left any wish open. only our room in the 2nd floor had already come into the years. in the 1st floor the rooms are already renovated, the 2nd floor is still in touch after the wetin has said. the price-performance ratio was very fair after our opinion, both in terms of accommodation and food. we like to come back (and then ask for a renovated room). this review only refers to the restaurant! our family comes from the direct environment of mespelbrunn and we regularly go to lunch on Sundays. the house with the adjacent adjoining rooms offers space for abundant guests. the interior is rural but very appealing. the foods range from shnitzel over steaks, various frying, medaillons etc. everything extremely delicious! the salatbuffet is really the hammer! actually quite inconspicuous, but everything is self-made. in the attached cafe area there is a huge selection of very tasty homemade cakes. they come here - they will not regret it.
this place is ideal to visit the castle Mespelbrunn, as it is only 10 minutes away and you can leave the car on the parking lot. it is actually a hotel that also has a restaurant part where they can taste typical dishes from the region. we had roasted with juniper-pridleberry-compot, with homemade potato roasted cabbage (14,80 euro) and pork-filetmedaillons from the grill with fresh rahmschwammerl (14,80 euro), both with a beer-guidance. a cupcake for dessert. all delicious and at a good price. very recommended.
