Entre Sierras - Réserver une table

Spent the morning looking around this charming village, and then started looking for lunch! Most of the restaurants were only serving main meals, and as a varied group of 5 we were looking more for tapas to share. This was our last restaurant to try and on walking in we KNEW this was the one! The bar was covered with a wonderful selection of beautifully presented pinchos, and traditional tapas in the containers under the bar. We tried every pincho and the majority of tapas, ordering extra for those we particularly liked. All were delicious the stars for us were, the « ham egg(quail) », smoked sardine anchovy, black sausage(mordilla), bacalao. All priced between 1.20 and 1.50 euros. Fabulous,...

la atención del camarero era excelente. Recomiendo pedir los aguacates gratinados que sorprenderán más de uno. El whisky solo no tiene nada que ver con la receta original, sabe como la salsa de carne de la marca “Bovril”. Le recomiendo al cocinero que haga la receta original con ajo, saboreado con whisky, limón y avecrem. Aun así, la carne y las papas eran muy buenas. una pena que no conocía el clásico “smooth to whisky”.

A special celebration in town ensured only tapas were available during our visit of Istan. At Entre Sierras we had a couple of very tasty tapas on the terrace outside overlooking the hill. The restaurant is quite simple but cozy, befitting of a town Istan's size. Prices very reasonable and our waitress spoke English quite well.

We went to have a snack and when we saw the attention of the waiter and the good dishes that his wife makes in the kitchen, we stayed to eat and it was all a discovery of well made food and to feel like you were in your house.All very friendly and of course we will come back many times more.

Sunny terrace for lunch....attentive, friendly service and very good food rabo de toro excellent (as were the chips). I would love to try their signature dish (conejo con ajo) but it can’t be as good as the rabo, can it? Reasonable prices and quaffable wine.
