Second visit, better than first. Wonderful service. Had the Sunday Night Special for $40 and three courses. My husband and I each selected the romaine salad with pistachios and the redfish entree with crawfish etoufee. The salad was lovely and the fish was good, not great. I should know better as I do not like tomato based sauces with fish. For dessert, we had apricot walnut bread pudding with caramel ice cream and a caramel creme. Both were good, with a slight edge to the bread pudding. A worthy value dinner. Since it was my husband's birthday, he ordered foie gras and crab cakes. This place is definitely off the beaten path. Everyone was pretty spaced apart and created a very special environment to truly enjoy your meal. I had the Feb 2022 chefs tasting menu accompanied by the wine pairings. The tasting menu and wines were amazing. The portions were just enough for me. My husband ordered off the menu and enjoyed his Bison Steak. Our server, Shannon, was amazing. She was very friendly and provided exceptional service. She appreciated the food and was spot on with each course. We never waited more than a few minutes in between courses but it was not rushed either. The pace of the meal was perfect. Wonderful plates and delicious cocktails supplement. That's a good meal. Expect good food and a great check. Romantic location and bar is nice for more casual.
