Great ice cream and soft serve. You can really taste the difference in quality compared to the chain places. Love the soft serve dips. Really friendly staff and fair prices. Wide selection of hard ice cream and sorbets. They have the usual vanilla/chocolate/swirl soft serves, but the dips make them stand out. Our favourites are the peanut butter or toasted coconut dips. Just a touch of salty with the sweet. If I had one downside, is that it's right on the highway and there isn't a place to sit and chat quietly on the benches out front, but there is a picnic table behind the store. The ice cream is good enough to forget that though.
This is now E's Ice Cream. This is a great place for soft serve (vanilla, choco swirl), sundaes, banana splits along with dozens of flavours in the hard ice cream. Service is quick and friendly and protocols are being followed. There is limited parking at the back and 6-10 places at the front. There is a picnic table and some benches, tho most folks are eating it in the car. Great value and very good ice cream and portions!
So I thought all hard ice cream was the same. E's proved that to be very wrong. The ice cream here is delicious. It's well worth the trip to E's. There are many flavours of hard ice cream. There are Blizzard-like treats and sundays too. There are 3 or 4 large tables that can accommodate groups of 6-8 and there's plenty of seating outside too. The prices are cheap and the portions are gigantic. Can't wait to go again!
A great small ice cream shop that never disappoints. We often stop in here on a summer day heading out of the city. The selection is great and the serving sizes are huge compared to a lot of other places, especially for the price that you pay you can’t beat it. The staff is very efficient and friendly. We have been going for years and always look forward to getting a dipped soft serve cone.
Amazing. The portions are a decent size, especially compared to other ice cream stores. And the prices are way better than any other places with this many options. Definitely my bew favourite place. Worth the drive and worth every penny. My favourite is a soft serve cone with birthday cake dip!! tastes amazing, will definitely be stopping by again.
The portions are incredible, the quality is there and the owners are top notch people. We drive from North Kildonan to this place and it just keeps us coming back. They are really nice to your kids as well. Hopefully you guys are re-opening soon! Canada Day won't be the same!
