We have visited Escalipatxo twice this summer and we were very pleased both times. This a very simple but nice place located in the main square of la Bisbal. The food is excellent and very reasonable. The first time we had home made nuggets for my son, an hamburger, a tomato salad (amazing) and some pasta with sea food, everything very nice. The second time we went on a Thursday where they have a menu at lunch time with paella for 15euros. Someone who knows la Bisbal and the area very well had strongly recommended the rice. And she was right. It was the best we had in the whole summer. It is a rice with both meat and fish, a bit stronger than the usual paella, but very tasty and really good....
Apart from being slow, and servicng us poorly there was an “incident” while we were there, a table umbrella wasn’t fastened down correctly and blue away, this landed on the next table hitting someone hard on the head and breaking a glass sending the broken glass into a child’s pram. The waiter took for every to come out and at no point even apologised. Avoid!
Nos a costado encontrarlo porque no tiene un cartel grande que lo veas de lejos.El camarero a tenido el detalle de ofrecernos otro comedor ya que la mesa de 2 estaba muy pegada a otro grupo.El servicio muy atento y cercano .La comida correcta , no te quedas con hambre menú variado .El flan de naranja muy rico . Lo recomiendo .
¡Hemos hecho un desayuno comida de casualidad! las bravas, los canelones, las patatas con huevos y jamón, y los huevos con gambas, buenisssim!! Lugar con encanto, y el precio más que correcto, ¡el trato espectacular! ¡Muy amblo! Volveremos avíate y lo recomendaremos

Hemos comido el menú del sábado y ha sido muy correcto. todos los platos tenían una muy buena presentación y eran muy sabrosos. Especialmente rico era el secreto. En la plaza donde está la terraza, había una paz muy agradable, además!
Fuimos con una hora intempestiva, y nos atendieron perfecto, comimos exquisitamente, y el servicio inmejorable, la verdad, todo elogios, muchas gracias.
Poor and above all far from friendly service. The food was homemade and good. Definitely not a place I'd come back to.
