We were sitting outside having lunch, when my daughter got up and went into the room and went to the cashier to ask where the bathroom was. The lady who was at the register simply told her that she couldn 't use the bathroom, as the bathroom was personal or for whoever was there consuming , that was the lady 's response. My daughter returns to the table with her head down. One observation: we are black, my daughter is wearing Hawaiians, shorts, a t-shirt, with her hair curled into a bun. My daughter was prevented from using the bathroom of the establishment where we were consuming simply because of her appearance. Really good lattes, I had the doce de leite capuchinho and my finacee iced Ovalmalchina. Both were very tasty. We really enjoyed the pão de queijo with ricotta, passas e batata palha. I also have to say that compared to other cafes in the area Espaço Café is reasonably priced.
