Espetadas has made for a pretty underwhelming take out experience for my whole family. I cannot speak on the atmosphere or service, but I do know that the food was ready when my family member went to pick it up.We tried the Chef's Special which includes the chicken espetada and cataplana with two sides. We got the chicken espetada with the mild sauce, which was skewered chicken. This chicken was undercooked and not tender at all. The mild sauce was also okay. The cataplana is a chicken dish with rice and vegetables. The chicken in this dish is definitely better, but the rice tastes sour and the vegetables are for okay. In terms of sides, the mashed potato is okay, but honestly worse in quali...
Espetadas was always my top pick for delightful meals. But my recent order, a pickup including chicken and cheese burgers with fries, turned out to be a letdown. The flavors just weren't right, and most of the items appeared to be stale; the fries were unfortunately inedible. This disappointing experience has me second-guessing whether I'll return. It's sad to see a place I used to love leave me with such a disheartening feeling.
The food is okay, I was hoping to be wowed a bit more but it's average. Points for being a halal spot that's a little different for your typical fare, though. It's a quick place for lunch and a few healthy options. The food comes out quickly and I did like their sauces. I will say I was a little disappointed that the bathroom did not have a changing table but if that's not a concern, feel free to stop in for a quick bite.
I ordered shrimp Alfredo, a baked potato, and a mojito. The baked potato and mojito were fantastic, but the shrimp Alfredo was a huge disappointment. I've never seen shrimp Alfredo served with rice before, which made it even more surprising. I won’t be ordering shrimp Alfredo again; it was really bland and lacked any flavor, making it quite unappetizing.

The espetadas were interesting to have. They are basically skewers hanging from the top, so it's easy to slide off and serve. The side dishes were good portions, too. The chicken was flavorful, though the garlic source is not spicy at all. The hot sauce had some bite to it, and I would recommend that on the chicken.
I enjoy nearly all the dishes and drinks at this restaurant. It's a great spot for burgers, grilled chicken, and halal tacos, and everything is halal. However, I had to drop a star after my recent experience with the chicken burger I ordered for pickup; the chicken was a bit burnt and tough.
The chicken was quite tasty, but there's definitely room for improvement in terms of spice. While the presentation was impressive, the service could have been faster. Overall, I would rate it a 6.5/10.

The chicken soup smelled spoiled and tasted like it. Also waited for 10 minuted because they needed to heat the soup up... what?Clearly, its Indian food marketed as Portuguese and calling it halal as if that doesn't signify it.

The food needs more flavor, not enough seasoning on anything and they have very limited sauce options. There are way better places than this.
