I really wanted to like this place, but sadly, the food was mediocre. I ordered the chili relleno dish, which was just so-so, smaller than what I'd usually get at other Mexican food joints. I liked the re-fried beans, but the rice was a bit salty. Hubby ordered the fried cod burrito that he liked enough. I was craving something sweet after the underwhelming entree, so we settled on the churro teepee. When it was delivered, it was missing whipped cream. The kitchen apparently had run out. The churros weren't crispy nor hot, like they've been sitting out. The servers were friendly and apologetic for delays in service. It is a beautiful Mexican restaurant in downtown Claremont! It was on the few restaurants that reopened after the COVID-19 finishes in 2021. So, after work, in 2021, I would come to enjoy some cocktails. They also had a good selection of Mexican meals. They were pretty tasty. Of course, the prices were on the expensive side. Nevertheless, the staff was friendly and helpful. Meals were also delicious. Well, the prices were worth it. At the same time, on Friday, there is a waiting time to get space, usually it is between 15-30 minutes. So if people don't mind waiting, it's pretty worth it. My sister in the law had seen reviews for this institution, and we wanted to find out what the whole hoopla was about. At first I start with their chips, right now. You don't even need the salsa that comes with. Better with the salsa. The food was very good, I would recommend this facility for the surrounding areas one for extra-urban as I do. The waitress was on her game and our refills came fast.

So glad they're getting back to what they used to be. I still miss the carnitas and chile Colorado, but the soup is back up to par, the chips and salsa are still good, everything we ordered was good. The service was great as is usually the case, but I really do miss those 2 items. I hope they bring them back!!! I'll come more often if they do

I love this place... will eat with my wife, this time no children. The prices are especially good for the portions. And if your salad eats and like cheese....you have to taste one of their salads. Beautiful environment, friendly service and good food!!!!

I was here more than once. The food is great, always fresh. Your tortilla chips and salsa are soooo good wide selection of beer on tap. Very clean furnishings, service is great. I wish I had taken pictures next time. I do recommend this place

I remember growing up and going to the original restaurant in Pomona. The quality and the service have never changed. I can highly recommend this great restaurant to everyone.

After taking our order our waiter was not more than a rumor. Someone else brought our drinks, and our meals. We had to ask another sever for refills, and our check.

Food is pretty mediocre, but the service and atmosphere are great. Love the Halloween decorations. Expensive, but you're paying for the atmosphere.

I love her Mexican salads. For years after Espinosa. They were very accommodating and brought my job to the car, as I can't go. Thank you.
