Espiau's - Réservation de table

I really wanted to like this place, but sadly, the food was mediocre. I ordered the chili relleno dish, which was just so-so, smaller than what I'd usually get at other Mexican food joints. I liked the re-fried beans, but the rice was a bit salty. Hubby ordered the fried cod burrito that he liked enough. I was craving something sweet after the underwhelming entree, so we settled on the churro teepee. When it was delivered, it was missing whipped cream. The kitchen apparently had run out. The churros weren't crispy nor hot, like they've been sitting out. The servers were friendly and apologetic for delays in service. I hadn't been to Espiau's in several years, and I was pleased to find that the Mexican salad was just as delicious as I remembered, especially the dressing. The chips were fantastic as well. It is a bit on the pricey side for Mexican food, but definitely worth the indulgence.

I remember growing up and going to the original restaurant in Pomona. The quality and the service have never changed. I can highly recommend this great restaurant to everyone.

After taking our order our waiter was not more than a rumor. Someone else brought our drinks, and our meals. We had to ask another sever for refills, and our check. Réservez une table maintenant

I went to Espiau since they were in Pomona, and it's always a treasure. My wife is a fan now. Jasmine was our server, they and the food were great!!! Thank you.

The food was delicious and affordable. The staff provided excellent service! I visited on a busy Friday night, but I didn't have to wait long for a table.

Food is pretty mediocre, but the service and atmosphere are great. Love the Halloween decorations. Expensive, but you're paying for the atmosphere.

I always have to stop when I visit California. Chips and salsa are excellent. The Tostada salad is my fav!

Fantastic spot for dining and catching Sunday football! The patio is also dog-friendly!
