We are both vegetarian and really looked forward to visiting a restaurant where we could eat anything and everything!! We went on a Saturday and were offered to chose from the menu of the day. Which offers four courses for under €12. Amongst the courses we had the asparagus soup which was the best we have ever eaten, simply amazing!! We also had the moussaka which was great. The owner had limited English but warmly welcomed us which combined with our even more limited Spanish, which is not a problem when everything is vegetarian/ vegan, we managed to order everything we wanted. We will certainly be back.
I have eaten many veggie dishes but this restaurant seems to serve the best vegetarian food at good price. My boyfriend and I went twice there and both times food was amazing and i cannot stress this enough. This may be the best quality of food I have ever eaten at a restaurant. We had 4 course lunches with three different options, as well as freshly squeezed juice and my boyfriend had beer. The menu changes everyday and the chef has a passion for what she does. We will go back one more time before our vacation ends. I cannot recommend this place enough.
I was introduced to this place by some friends and was pleasantly surprised. Espiga is a great little place tucked away off Avenida Joan Miro. Its a lovely place, no frills just yummy food, the 4 course lunch menu is great value, the staff are friendly and give excellent service. Will definitely be going back soon.
excellent service with varied options of vegetarian dishes. It is observed that the ingredients were very fresh and the amount that serves per dish is appropriate. the price-value ratio is unbeatable. Don't be a vegetarian yet, as is my case, it's a place you're going to want to come back to!
