The best Italian restaurant in Raritan. Food was excellent. The steak, the pasta, the sauce, everything was flawless. They gave huge portion and complimentary salad and bread. Everyone left with big boxes of leftover food. The only headache is parking. They don’t have their own parking lot. We usually do street parking and walk over. The place is small with a bar. I was really let down by my favorite restaurant. On Saturday night, I braved the pouring rain and, after checking in for my wife and me, I waited in the vestibule for a table while chatting with a fellow veteran. To my surprise, a party of three arrived after us and was seated before us. I'm sorry, Espo's, but my family, friends, and I won't be returning. This experience felt disrespectful and left me completely frustrated.

This place is absolutely fantastic! I traveled from Texas to visit friends, and every single one of them recommended it. It's the best Italian food we've ever had. We absolutely plan to return on our next visit. The atmosphere, food, and service were all incredible. For our dinner, we spent over $100 per person. I would rate the food, service, and atmosphere all a perfect 5!
