We'd heard good things about this cafe but weren't overly impressed. We ordered 2 big breakies (one vego big breaky) and 2 coffees (one with almond milk). We were both quite dissapointed to find that our beans AND spaghetti were stone cold as if they'd been poured straight from the can into the serving bowls. We initially chose this place for convenience as it was right next to a children's play area and we were glad we did. Both the service and food were great. The kids burger and chips was nearly big enough for an adult and it was also really tasty. They have an all day breakfast menu and the big breakfast comes with a little bit of everything. We also had a grilled chicken burger and chips which was all tasty. We had an unhappy little boy with us and the owner (I think) came out with a glass of banana smoothie which put a big smile on his face, he also said it was very yummy. My friend and I decided to have coffee here today (13/5). She ordered a weak cappuccino and I ordered a flat white, extra hot and no froth. Both coffees arrived as ordered. We also wanted an egg lettuce sandwich to share. What was in the cabinet was curried egg and lettuce sandwiches. My friend does not like curry, so I asked if we could have an ordinary egg and lettuce sandwich with a little mayonnaise. No problem for them. The cafe was very busy but all arrived quickly with a smile. Coffee was good and sandwich had a very generous filling. Thank you. Most enjoyable.
I asked the barista Kylie if she knew about Melbourne Magic coffee - she didn't. I asked, as it wasn't a busy time, if I told her the recipe would she have a go - she said yes. My coffee arrived, brought to me by the delightful Jenae and it was perfect! Thank you ladies for being prepared to learn and create. Oh, the passionfruit tart was awesome too. And thank you Melbourne for introducing me to the perfect mix of coffee and milk.

We go here whenever we go shopping which is often. The food is great, drinks are many and varied, the prices are reasonable. The service is second to more. The place is spotless and staff are very friendly. The owner is visable and he makes everyone feel welcome and special. Love this place.
Always a great meal. No pretentious ingredients. Just good food. No having to ask for a steak knife to cut through the sourdough because they use ordinary bread. And really good coffee.
Visit to Espresso Yourself Cafe batemans bay. New chef on board matt. He delivered the ultimate banana pancake stack. Absolutely devine! 10 out of 10. Highly recommend visiting cafe.
The food is amazing and the best coffee in town. Service is second to none and always welcomed with a smiling face! Try the special mushrooms they are to die for!
