we love it, in esy’s for a suppe and a sandwich- we recommend very suppening their day, they are almost always vegan, guaranteed milk free- just have to make sure that no chicken stock was used, and the menu board in the rule called. we also love her veggie and hummus sandwich on a beautiful crust bread to dunken into the suppe. they usually have a lot of beside dishes to offer, but in the rule when we ask which vegan- there are in the usually not many if any. they also have a small selection of vegan desserts available, but we have not yet tried any of them. court stars for their SOUP options alone- yummm
I ordered the Portabello sandwich with roasted red paprika instead of cheese and it came with vegan pesto and grilled twee. the pesto had absolutely no taste, it was like eating a wobble sandwich, as there were only a few pieces of cut mushroom and the paprika for a because were clearly sat and did not seem fresh or tasteful. the baguette was like a day old brot and very chew. the ice cream I had was moderate. I tried two vegan baked items. I bought a piece of cinnamon leaf and a peanut butter cookie and also not fresh. the tastes were okay. I won't try again.
I have been a patron of Esy's Kafe for more than three decades, and I must say that the food is top-notch, prepared to perfection, and incredibly tasty! The use of quality ingredients, all made in-house, results in delicious and healthy dishes. I have a particular fondness for their soups, salads, duck dishes, desserts, and yogurts. Ted and his lovely wife are welcoming and attentive hosts. It has also been a pleasure to witness their daughters grow into admirable young women over the years.
This restaurant is truly a hidden gem. The food is incredible, even someone who isn't a vegetarian might want to try something from that section of the menu. My top pick is the garlic butter wrap. The soups are also exceptional. The atmosphere is inviting and perfect for those who are health-conscious. There is plenty of parking available in the back.

We stopped by for a quick lunch after finding this place online. We loved the vegan soups (butternut squash and vegetable chili) and the spinach-cold soup was both tasty and nutritious. The linguine dish with mushrooms and vegetables was freshly made and absolutely delicious. We will definitely be returning.
Love all of the food here! Plenty of healthy and filling options. The soups are spectacular and the owner is friendly and always around. Would definitely recommend!
