Delicious and wonderful service! It’s been a while since I’ve visited this little gem. But it’s worth the trip. The staff are very accommodating of requests (we had a big group ordering multiple things vegan, GF etc), the food was delicious (plenty of injera to mop up all the delicious curries) and they even sang with us happy birthday to our 2 friends. It was a great night.
Delicious food and great service. Pros BYO alcohol without excess charges and the food was really good. Ordered the share plate called Mosob which was $25 pp You also get free tea or coffee with this. Cons not sure why the food took about an hour to arrive but was worth the wait.
Ethiopia Down Under is one of Canberra's hidden gems inwhich my husband and I love to dine at. The food is always amazing with lots of flovour, you can tell it's made with love. We highly recommend this great little restaurant just be prepared good food take time.
The best food I have had in a long time. I haven't stopped thinking about it. Very polite service and the chef came out to apologise for a small wait. Can't wait to go back. Réservez une table maintenant
I’ve had to change my previous 5 star review to 1 star given we turned up today and the place seemed to be shut down, no indication anywhere of a temporary closure.
The food is wonderful and the staff are incredibly friendly, authentic people with whom it's easy to have a lovely conversation. Highly recommend this hidden gem.
