Eurospar Fruitfield Reids Farm

Eurospar (aka Fruitfield or Reids Farm Food Hall) looks impressive enough being visually inviting, large and new. Walk through the doors and it initially looks like a spacious, well stocked supermarket. There's fruit, veg, chilled and frozen sections, cards, stationary, a deli counter and an off licence in store. You'll also find a petrol station, car wash and restaurant (The Scullery) on site. Overall a bit similar to an Applegreen Service Station. Unfortunately I just don't like it. Every item's ridiculously overpriced and the grocery selection isn't particularly extensive. Nor is there anything here you wouldn't get in other standard supermarkets. Plus, apart from a token couple of soya milk cartons and Quorn packets the vegetarian and vegan options are virtually nonexistent. I'll not be rushing back.

Great staff, great offers. The Scullery is delicious, and makes a good Americano, partnered up with a Raspberry and White Chocolate scone. Bliss. Toilet facilities clean and tidy. Petrol Pump easy to use, and at an appropriate price.
