I make delicious breakfast Burritos, but recently traders joe's has not been able to restock their hashbrowns #hashbrowncrisis. So I decided to try a local breakfast Burrito that I heard Everest is great and it's close to me, so I gave it a try. The place was busy ladies who enjoy breakfast together, a couple of father and son groups, various traders on the way to and from work as well as some families. Felt like a Pastrami today they used to be a good lean pastrami not always the best taste like premium pastrami in LA but close by but last few times they have had so much fat. I'm talking when your kinda hungry and take too big of bite so you swallow part of it before the rest but then you feel something in your throat. And before you gag you pull some pastrami out of your mouth and the stringy fat pulls up the pastrami halfway down to your stomach! And then there's the mustard ! I would not assemble a sandwich like that. Ether not enough or way too much. Assemble the sandwhich the way you would if your making yourself one for a meal I pulled out the fat and made half a sandwich but didn't...
Honestly, the food is fine, but the 2 stars are for the last visits I had here. Employee inability is sometimes unhandy and unbelievable. Your policy on Ranch/Sauces is exaggerated and even if I pay for it, they are also delayed. Very stingy! When I told them they missed a sauce, they said? I'm not one who's over 50 cents of sauce lye? They didn't flatter me because they thought I was lying and I paid for another. Ultimately, it is worth mentioning that the staff will see you in Ekel when you ask for carrots, and even more in the ecle when you ask for extra. 1 or 2 very tiny bags with a few carrots is not enough for a 5 or 6 person order. Absolutely spectacular food. Super friendly and helpful staff. The Pastrami Dip Sandwich here is absolutely amazing. The Onion Rings are perfection, and the Burgers are divine. The entire city of Glendale was devastated when the location there closed, due to the building owners refusing to renew their lease, after decades. It is, without a doubt, worth the 15-minute drive to get to this location. Easily a five-star experience, every time. Réservez une table maintenant
Addicting. Everest is a perfect recipe of improvised Jumble and truly epic comfort food. One case in point: her chiliries are a full portion of chili on more frits than you can eat. It comes with a fork. It will ruin you for chiliries everywhere else. Try their fish chips, they put many high-end boot restaurants to shame. Bacon Cheeseburger cut with half a fresh avocado, my mouth is watered. Yum.
Breakfast is outstanding. Salads are terrific and I am probably the 1,234th person to say that the onion rings get my vote for tasty ! Ranch Dressing is so good that even I like it, and I don't ever like ranch. They need a double drive thru to handle all their traffic there.
