I sent my grandsons out to find somewhere to eat at a reasonable price. They reported back that they liked the look of this venue. We went and I was stunned by what we got.The venue is in the modern bar restaurant style. It wasn't busy. The guy (there was only one) was quickly in tune with us speaking as we did a mixture of German and English. Two starters of snails and one of red mullet were given very high marks. Our wines by the glass were fresh and appropriate and sensibly priced. Indeed a feature of the venue is its sensible pricing throughout, Main courses were uniformly raved about. the eternal lamp lies directly at the refrath railway station and has a beer garden.
