Absolutely phenomenal place...Greg the owner, super nice guy, very knowledgeable about the wines he offers. This is the old style shopping experience, Greg knows everyone who enters his vine store- I love it. The selection is special, completely different then all big wine stores. I found the the gem and only because of Greg. Speri Amarone 2010- r u kidding me? Did I get lucky today? Thank You Grag. Also we had some french wines tasting today- is this great or what? Curated collection of wines and craft beers with sommelier staff who can help you find a great wine for any occasion. Know that they have excellent wines in every price range, and with the staff who can recommend something based on your taste, style, menu, or occasion, you just can't go wrong. I also adore that they seem to focus on wines from smaller vineyards over the mass-produced. So glad I discovered this outstanding locally-owned business, highly recommend!

Greg Varner is experienced and has been in Excelsior for about 20 years. Great selection of wines, frequent tastings, and a comfortable atmosphere. Also, his manager, Susan, has lived in the wine country, worked for a distributor and is very nice and knowledgeable about wines. Their location is right off Hwy 7 with easy on-off access. Go!...and say Trader Bill sent ya...they will either welcome you or ban you...LOL.

Greg and Troy are very knowledgeable about wine and other beverages!! It is a very well stocked store with some unique wines and Bourbons that you won't find other places. It's nice too that they are mindful of the customers price point and make great recommendations when trying to pair a wine to a meal at home. Réservez une table maintenant

Great local liquor store. Greg and his wife do a great job stocking great wine, beer and liquor. Nice and unique rum selection. If they don't have what you're looking for just ask and Greg will and it for you next time you stop in. I'm always happy support this local business.

You have to stop in for wine tasting. Susan is the best. She can help you pair wine with your meal. We usually leave with at least 2 bottles for the evening. Tell susan we sent you.

Love this little gem amid all the larger options. So educated and prices are competitive. Greg is very generous to local parish events. We will keep promoting Excelsior Vintage!!!
