I think that it must have been seventeen years ago that I was first told about this wonderful local restaurant. It has been a 'must ' ever since. Hidden far away from the tourist area of the town and the only commercial enterprise amongst the homes of the locals it is their restaurant. This is a family run restaurant, run for the locals and I count myself and my family as being extremely lucky to be able to share it with them. There is nothing flash about the place. The food is delicious and the tinto de la casa at 4.50 euros a bottle fantastic value for money. But then you can say that about everything in this delightful secret hideaway.
restaurant traditionnel espagnol catalan, avec ses céramiques sur les murs les jambons accrochés sur le plafond et plus de soixante tapas sur la carte. restaurant familial, carlos, nouria et maman de plus de 80 ans. convivialité, excellente cuisine, quantité, grande soirée. la présence de nombreux peuples autochtones n'est pas confondue. ajouter à cela un prix de valeur sans comparaison et vous ne serez pas surpris que je le recommande avec insistance. d'énormes conseils que vous devez réserver si vous ne voulez pas être déçu et rester devant la porte.
We went here a Sayurday for lunch after reading the great reviews on TA. And I must say I was positively surprised. The tapas were amazing. Amazing quality, large portions and all that to a very fair price. Really enjoyed it there. Service was friendly. Would definitely repeat and can highly recommend. We tried their homemade chicken croquetas and they were not only delicious, but for 2,95€ we received 6 or 8 units which was amazing. Very recommendable.
We found this place by coincidence but don't regret it. It is a classical tapas bar, not fancy at all with 2 televisions at the wall. You should come here for the food. All tapas we tried were delicious. Pimientos del padrón, chipirones, jamón iberico, sardinas,...You cannot go wrong. The menu is also translated in English and French. Wines are basic but cheap. It's definitely a place to go back. Excellent value for money!!!
