Ezell's Catfish Cabin

We loves this place and have been coming here for years. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is that the prices are really high for what you get. Our family of four (2 adults, 2 children under 10 had our most recent dinner bill at $70 with tip. Would make more sense in the $45-$50 range based on the food. With that be said, we’ll definitely be back, we just can’t afford to eat here as frequently as we’d like. Love the fried catfish, hush puppies, calabash shrimp, grilled shrimp, and cheese grits. It's okay. Lacked flavor like most places in Columbus. They serve hush puppies with really over sweat coleslaw instead of butter which is just weird. They are very pricey for lunch portions. They charged an extra. 3.5% if you pay with debit or credit, you know like THE MOST COMMON FORM OF PAYMENT! For goodness sakes just increase your prices if your gonna be that greedy. Of course they are overpriced as it is for what you get, but it seems disingenuous to charge an additional fee AFTER you've already served the customer.

Delicious catfish grilled or fried. Grilled chicken available. Ask for steamboat it is not on menu Collards are good. I hope you know how good the hushpuppies and Cole slaw are that they bring to the table with your drinks. They can become your meal if you aren't careful. My children have had to pack their meal for later on some occasions! The crab claw appetizer was delicious and enough to share

I read about this place online and thought I would try it when I was passing through. I stopped in at 3pm on Saturday and there was still a 20 minute wait for a table. The service was good and the food was out pretty quick. I ordered the catfish poboy. Cole slaw and hush puppies were brought to my table right away. The fish was good but the sandwich overall was too dry to eat. Réservez une table maintenant

From the atmosphere, to the customer service to the food my first experience here was A+. Ordered the fried oyster dinner and enjoyed every bit of it. Oysters and hushpuppies were fried to perfection. Can't wait to come back to Columbus just to visit!

I actually, to be honest, did not eat much at this restaurant. I had just eaten prior to but I did however have some of the fried green tomatoes and they were amazing! The service was good and everything was HOT.

Our server did an excellent job, the food was great and we were able to get the back room. This made for a very special good bye evening for a friend. The group appreciated Ezell's giving us a great evening.

I'm a fist lover. I had the whole catfish plate. Omg, the season on the fish was good, and fried to perfection. Definitely a 5 star. I will be going... Réservez une table maintenant

Good food and good service, what more could you ask for! I've never been a fan on coleslaw, but they made me a believer for sure!
