Ezell's Famous Chicken

I don?t like leaving low reviews, but when things go corporate, there tends to be a lack of service on the back end so after no response to my email, I feel called to share here. I am bummed, used to love the original Ezell?s and was excited to pick someup to enjoy again for a family party. Unfortunately, this order was disappointing and embarrassing. For starters, I asked thekind young fellows taking orders which side is better between the mac cheese and potato salad. One said mac cheese the othersaid potato salad. Then, the one who said mac cheese admitted he hadn?t even tried it yet, but it just ?looked better? thanthe potato salad. 2 red flags already. Looks better? Working there and has...

I was supremely unimpressed. I got mixed (spicy classic) tenders, fries, mac cheese, coleslaw and rolls. Both types of tenders were flavorless. The fries were dry and unseasoned. The mac cheese was bland at best. And the coleslaw was TOOmayonnaisey. The rolls were just ok. In short, I don't see any reason to return.

Food is always ready pretty fast and you'd think maybe they're cutting corners and it won't be that good. After eating here a good couple of times, I can say with 100% confidence this one word. YUM. My love for ezell's is simple and pure.

got myself a pound of half/half tender. Tenders were well cooked and rolls were very fluffly and tasty.
