This may not be indicative of everyone’s experience but our experience was very poor. We ordered food and the waiter then left us in the restaurant on our own to run to the shop (we could see out the window) to get ingredients. We ordered eggs Benedict and the eggs to be fair were very nice but the rest wasn’t what was on the menu. I was meant to have gammon but had bacon, it was meant to be on muffins but it was upside down burger buns. We then had what I assume is the owner come back with a delivery and shout through the restaurant dumping boxes here there and everywhere. The steak I ordered was tasteless. Felt like it was left on the fridge for ages and there was no seasoning at all. The chicken wings tasted like they were refried. Dry inside. The barbeque sauce was not the best either. The chips are expensive for the cheap quality. The Chef was not using an apron and looked like he was wearing an old pijama shirt. Also the menu is from the old owner and the new one is a printed paper. That needs to get better too. The owner is a nice guy and seems to be putting a lot of effort into it however I think he needs some guidance. The place was also dark and needs some lightning or perhaps some of them was just not on.
Ordered takeout from here tonight, not for the first time, and once again did not disappoint, food is well priced and bloody lush! Still my go to takeaway! No photos as couldn’t wait to dig in! If you haven’t tried this place I really recommend you do!!
Hidden Gem in Gravesend! Chicken Wings were delicious so chunky and juicy! chips were delish! Kids loved the hot dogs Fantastic staff friendly and attentive : Will be back for sure
