Fado Ao Carmo - Réservation de table

we started with a feta cheese salad with picked up. combined with a black bell salad and calf salad. everything was very well seasoned and delicious. for the main meal I chose the baked bacalhau and my man had the calf. the portions were generous and delicious. we chose a white wine barca do inferno. we thought it translated “Boat on fire ”. oops. and then the Fado music began. the singer was emotionally accompanied by extraordinary gitarren. definitiw to enjoy a night.

Atmospheric, authentic fado restaurant. Tasty traditional Portuguese food, affordable price and nice waiters. Vegan possibilities. A particularly fine fado performance started at 9 p.m. and continued with breaks until midnight. Fado is sung from the heart, so it should also be listened to with respect. If you've never been to listen to fado before, it's customary not to clap along or shout cheers. If you have to eat during the show, try to do it without any noice.

There is something magic about traditional Fado Houses in general, however, it is rare that you can combine the quality of musicians that you often encounter playing in 'Fado ao Carmo ' and the class of food that is presented to you in this venue. A place that preserves the respect for the tradition, provides the privacy and intimacy required for the full fado experience and innovates in the kitchen which is a truly welcome surprise. Definitely recommend.

Finalmente Lisboa tem uma excelente casa de fados que une boa música com excelente comida e preços de acordo com o expectável. Foi a primeira vez que fui ao Fado ao Carmo e fiquei rendido. Atendimento muito acolhedor! Aconselho para quem deseja passar um bom serão acompanhado de bons fados no centro de Lisboa. Réservez une table maintenant

To be honest, eating was not as good as we had expected, but the fado made more than for him, the two singers were just excellent and I was very moved by the music. it was an unforgettable evening and I highly recommend it.

Excellent combination of dinner, wine, live music and attentive and friendly service. We hadn't been there for the first time and definitly not for the last.
